Lentils with tempeh

It’s starting to get cold in Prague, so today we will have warm and energetic lentils for lunch.

Ingredients (4 people)


300 g of lentils

5 small potatoes

4 carrots

150 g of fried or smoked tempeh

sweet and spice paprika

salt and pepper




1. Cut the potatoes and carrots in small cubes.

2. Put the lentils, carrots and potatoes in a big pot with at least one liter of water. Season it with sweet and spicy paprika, salt and pepper.

3.Cook for about 30 min. Check from time to time if you need to add more water.

4. Cut the tempeh in small cubes and add it to the lentils. Cook for about 10 min. more.

5. Serve with some fresh bread.
