Celery root cream

We decided to have a warm and tasty soup to celebrate the first snowfall of the winter.

celery1Ingredients (serves 4)

1 big piece of celery root

2 medium onions

200 ml of whipping cream

1 l of vegetable broth

1 tablespoon of oil

salt and pepper

Steps:

1. Cut the onions and the celery root in small pieces and cook in a pan with oil for about 15 min.

2. Prepare the vegetable broth in a pot and add the onions and celery. Cook for 15 min.

3. Add the cream, salt and pepper and mix with the blender until it has a creamy texture.
